About the Illustrator

My name is Alessia and I was born in Italy in 1998. For as long as I can remember, drawing has always been my passion. After I earned my degree at a linguistic school, I managed to turn my hobby into a job. I started drawing comic characters, until one day I tried to draw my dog Sherlock after my sister and I adopted him in 2016. This threw me into the world of pets in Disney style, allowing me not only to draw a lot of beautiful and cute fur friends, but also to get to know a lot of wonderful people. Kimberley is one of them. We started to work together a couple of years ago, when she reached out to me to illustrate a couple of drawings of Daisy-Anne. This is what slowly led us to create multiple projects together, including “Walk a Week with Us”. Kimberley sent me her ideas, her vision, and I sent her the initial draft. From that draft, it has always been a step-by-step work and communication between me and her, a back and forth that made sure the final result could be perfect and exactly what she was envisioning. Working with her has been a very pleasing and professional experience, and I’m so proud that everyone can now take a look at what we have been working on.
